Happy EMO New Year

 

(1) This is the first time I post anything that is not black-and-white. Well, it's because my baby brought me crayons while I was doodling on my sketchbook. So I was like, why not, it's almost New Year, let's add some colors :)

(2) no these aren't goths. they are just emos.

but anyway, kids' drawings are awesome. I've learned ("stolen?") so much from them.

cool eyes

I saw a traditional Korean mask in Incheon Airport and thought the way eyes were drawn on the mask was pretty cool. That's it. I just wanted to try those eyes @_@

Armadillo

well... I guess I just kind of miss Gainesville, Florida (where I went to school) when I draw an armadillo...

Carnet de Voyage, Clermont-Ferrand, France

Oh, right, I am in Clermont-Ferrand right now participating in Carnet de Voyage, a travel art show. It's the first time for me to show my comics work to people - in person - who are not my editor (duh) or my close friends.
